So if you haven’t noticed, it’s been about 2 years since I last posted. My apologies to those 0 avid readers of my posts…:) Anyways, it’s been an exciting/busy/miserable past 2 weeks….hehe, let me explain. Sunday night, whatever the date was last time I posted, Sarah’s sister Brooke finally went into labor. Once we found out, Sarah’s whole family (including Sarah) packed and left for Terre Haute, Indiana to be with Brooke and the baby for the week. There went everyone I really knew here in my new home. I had to stay here, cause I worked 8-5 every day last week. I still really love my new job, and am getting excited about making radio work for some local businesses ASAP. But I didn’t sleep well. I did, however, rent really scary movies most nights, cause Sarah’s not a big fan, and I wouldn’t otherwise have a chance…hehe
Anyways, Friday after work, I left for Terre Haute to join up with the family, and see my new niece! Ella Elizabeth Shaw, 7 lbs, 14 oz…21 inches….to anyone who wants that information. She’s a cute baby, with tons of hair. And yes, to everyone who knows me, I did actually willingly hold her. Lord knows, now that this gate has opened, it won’t be long until Sarah and I make an announcement. (none yet)
Anyways, we came back Saturday night, and Sunday morning planned to return to Trinity Church of the Nazarene, where we really want to start going (maybe working part-time too?)….but I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. From Sunday until wednesday I had a temp. of like 103, sore throat, and the world was spinning. Doc. Muhammad had no clue what it was, and was just as confused as I was. But nevertheless, we’re both glad I’m feeling better now.
Sarah’s birthday was yesterday. I’m married to a much older woman now, 24. Go Chadwick, Go Chadwick, Go Chadwick. You should’ve seen her when I came home to take her out. Wow. I know my wife is beautiful. But wow. She looked phenomenal last night, we ate at a really nice restaurant, and I impressed her with some great birthday gifts.
Sidenote for the fellas – THE BEST CHOCOLATE WE HAVE EVER TASTED (and we’ve had a lot) is what I got Sarah as part of her birthday surprise. Check out www.mrchocolate.com It’s the best in the world, really, and actually a decent price, as opposed to the Godiva “G” Collection. Really….$350 for chocolate? C’mon Godiva. Make chocolate for real people who like fine things….like Mr.Chocolate does.
Anyways….what am I reading? 2 books. One by Donald Miller called “Searching for God Knows What” – he’s a great author who talks about wanting a faith that’s real…using lots of colorful illustrations from his own life (which is definitely not sheltered) The other book is “Two Weeks with my Brother” by Nicholas Sparks. I’m not a sap, so BACK OFF. I just like his writing, and I have an older brother that it’d be nice to reconnect with sometime. We probably won’t ever go on an expedition around the world…but maybe we can visit each other and hit McD’s or something. Anyways, it’s a great book so far.
Whew, that’s a lot. Sorry to shove it all down your throats so quick. I’ll stop for now, and let you get your grounding. Going to see Jason Mraz tonight at Millikin….we got extra tickets, let us know if u wanna come!!!! God bless!!

Well i am one avid reader! just so ya know, i man i wish i could have went to Jason Mraz, So jelous!!!
