Gods’ Will

What is it?

I’ve praught (past tense of preach, duh) about this topic to both congregations and youth groups. I’ve taught/learned a lot about God’s will.

What is God’s will for Chadwick Anderson? To be a minister of the gospel. To preach. To teach. To pastor. To Love. To counsel. To Live well.

Lord…..help me to be right in the middle of your Will on a daily basis.

Question for you…what is something you’ve learned recently about God’s will for you?

  1. God has been reminding me, thus teaching me, that my life is to be about relationship with Him.  It has been so easy to get caught up in the “doing” of ministry that I have failed to simply sit at His feet and listen for His voice.  If I don’t make that my first priority everything else is not only less powerful and deep, it is pointless.  For many will say “Lord, Lord didn’t we do this….”and Christ will say, “Depart, I did not know you.”  Oh how I want to know HIm.  To know His voice, to sense His presence, to await with incredible anticipation every word He would speak to me and then to always answer with a heartfelt and eager “Yes.”  I must puruse Him, for He has pursued me.  I must speak with Him, because He is speaking to me.  I must listen to Him, for He has always listened to me.  I must seek Him and know Him because without Him, truly my life is an empty shell, nothing but a walking pile of dust.  God has taught me this convicting truth.  God has become as a stranger to me, and it is only because I have ignored Him.  It is time for change.

any thoughts?
