God bless good weather.  I’ve never been so ready for warmer weather.  Although now that I wear dress clothes all day, it’s hardly as fun.  Someone really needs to invent dress flip-flops for men.  It’s unfair that women can walk around with bare toes all they want, and it’s still “elegant” and “dressy”.  I’ll get a stinkin’ pedicure if that’s what it takes….let my toes be free!!!

Anyways, God is good.  We had a great weekend this past week.  Went for a LONG bike ride on saturday, which I haven’t done in years.  Went dirt-biking with some friends from church on Sunday.  For those who know me…you know I don’t dirt bike.  I was a bit freaked, but made a decent attempt.  Even went up to 2nd gear for a bit.  Who knows, someday maybe I’ll do it again. 🙂  Seriously though, it was fun, and if anything I love getting to know our new church family!!!

For b-ball fans, you already know the news….ILLINOIS LOST.  I didn’t really have a huge stake in the game, but I hurt with the pain of those living in the area.  Sarah’s family especially….hard-core Illini fans.  I wore an orange shirt for them, and feel their pain.  But altogether it was an incredible season.  And you had to smile to see the reaction of North Carolina when they won.  It must have felt great, and you could tell more than one of them was overwhelmed by joy.  I like moments like that.  Some of the “hardest” men who try to look all tough….when a huge emotional event happens….finally become real.  Jumping, running, hugging, crying, allowing themselves to express emotions if only for that night. 🙂  God smiles, though I’m pretty sure he was cheering for both sides.

My wife rocks, by the way.  Not only is she the hottest woman alive….but she loves me.  I like that in a wife.:)  I love her too.
