Hey friends…

Well, I’ve gone and done it.  I’m officially a MAC user now.  For my PC friends, don’t worry…I will always be a PC user as well.  It’s hard not to be these days.  But I’d been needing a laptop for some time now, and here was my line of thinking:

1. PC’s and MAC’s are both fine for word processing and internet.  (which I use a lot for research/study/lesson planning/preaching/e-mail/etc…)

2. MAC’s are better for video/picture/music editing and producing.  Not that I desire to become rich and famous, but for my Youth Ministry and as a hobby, I wanted to be able to do more.

3. PC’s run a lot of games.  I don’t need/want that temptation.

4. MAC’s are cuter.  I love the little apple that lights up on the back.

5. It somehow makes me feel smarter.  Let’s be honest, I needed something.  That college degree just didn’t do the trick.

6. Tiger just came out.  Roar.

With all of that being said…I now need to find out if I have any MAC friends who read my xanga.  I’m looking for anyone with a connection for cheap MAC software, or just some good MAC tips/advice…gimmee a shout back via e-mail if u’re out there.
