And so it begins….the Thanksgiving/Christmas season seems to have crept up and sprung like a cat on a dead fish that it didn’t realize was dead so it didn’t have to pounce quite so fast but did anyways because cats are just like that.

Soon we’ll all be 10 pounds heavier, have a lot less money, and be stressed out to pack as much as we can into our days off from work. God bless the Holidays.

Seriously though…I’m excited. Yesterday was a great day. In the morning, Sarah and I had our first practice with the children for this year’s Christmas Musical at church….it’s gonna be tight. Last night, we had our first official intense bible study with a small group of the teens….it went really well. I’m excited to see where both groups are a month from now.

I’m also looking forward to moving into our FIRST HOUSE!!! We’re still hoping to close on Friday, and do most of the major moving on saturday. We’re definitely stoked, and still trying to imagine what it will be like to live in our own house for the first time EVER. 🙂 We had a house back in Iowa, and it was really nice, but we didn’t really view it as “our” house…..cause it wasn’t. The church owned it. But this house….this is our house. 3 Bedrooms. 1 3/4 bathrooms. 2 living room areas. 1 eat in kitchen. 1 unfinished room in the basement, 1 workshop room, 4 closets, 1 walk in closet, 1 attic, and tons of storage areas in the basement. Oh, and a shed outdoors, a huge deck, a car port, and a lilac tree. Not to mention a maple tree in the back yard that would make mother nature proud. How about that….I own a tree. 🙂

So anyways….I’ll be updating sometime soon with pictures and what-not, and stories about our move to our first home. 🙂 I can’t wait to get in there.

Anyways….Lincoln today, Normal tomorrow, Urbana wednesday, Normal Thursday, and Decatur on friday…..ah the life of a salesman. Lord help me. 🙂
